Flash player 8.5

With the upcoming release of Flash Player 8.5, I wonder if the Flash developer community will be able to unlock it’s secrets before the Flash 9 alpha, just like they did with Flash player 8. Or did Macromedia go to the trouble of hiding or disabling the new AS3 goodness?

Just a thought.

Don’t see why they would hide or disable AS3 features — I assume they’re releasing a public alpha so you people can test it and give feedback, not just compatibility testing.

I’m also under the impression Flex Builder 2 will be exporting to Flash Player 8.5 so we will probably not have to wait until the Flash 9 alpha to find out more. Of course its still a work in progress so features will likely come and go during the development cycle.

Just a few days to go :)
